General League Rules

• Programs: Flag (4–5), Tackle (7U, 9U, 11U), Cheer (6–12)

• Team Fees: Flag – $850 | Tackle – $1350 | Cheer – $200/org

• Registration Cutoff: August 17
• UIL rules apply where FYFL rules are not specific

Conduct & Sideline Expectations

• $100 fine + 1-game suspension for any coach/player ejection

• Parent misconduct can lead to removal or forfeiture

• No threats, physical/verbal abuse, or online harassment
• Max 7 certified coaches per sideline — must wear badges

Game Format & Procedures

• Game Length: Flag/7U – 20 min halves | 9U/11U – 12 min quarters
• 24-point lead = continuous running clock
• 15-min forfeit time | Forfeits require ref payment to resume play
• Only non-judgment calls can be protested (with $100 fee)

Division-Specific Highlights

Eligibility & Weigh-Ins

• Age eligibility based on August 1
• Must upload report card, birth certificate, and physical
• Only one weigh-in attempt — no second chances
• Overweight players restricted to line positions

Player Transfers & Recruiting

• Recruiting within FYFL is prohibited
• Transfers require a written request and board approval
• Violators risk game forfeiture and board review
